SOLOMON TRUITT, ninth child of Levi and Susanna Truitt, was born on December 26, 1809 in Haywood, North Carolina. He married first MARGARET DEHART. To this union no children were born. He married second time MARY DAVIS. Mary was born on November 26, 1811 in Kentucky and died on January 8, 1905. Solomon died on December 28, 1859 in Brush Creek, Cherokee, North Carolina.
